so if i want to change the lense..which type of the lense i have to buy..my ps2 is SCHP-500001...NTSC
please give me a hint...
HUH?! your first post said you have a V4. Any console with SCPH-50001 is going to be a v9 or v10.Originally Posted by vuha2002

Either HD7 or 400C. The HD7 is made by sanyo and will say HD7 on it. The 400C is a sony one and says sony on it. The only way is to open it and take the top cover of the dvd drive off. Make sure its not plugged in. Dont look into the laser. That can cause permanent eye damage. There is a laser changer program which can change the hd7 to 400c laser. I hope this helps.
grrr giving v4 a bad name!! i have a ps2 ntsc 30001 that serves me well all these years...even during those cold long nites!!!
