Messiah 2 Pro v1.3 VS DMS3 v2.0 VS Magic 3.1

Out of the above 3 chips, which is, hands down, THE best for my gran turismo 3 pack (v4) console?

installation doesn't matter, price doesn't matter, nothing matters except which i should get

if it was you, and pretend it was being given to you for free, which would you pick out of the 3?

Also, do any of them disable macrovision??
How about enabling all DVD regions?

I want to be able to still play DVD movies without any problems, but it would be cool (not necessary) to have a chip that disables macrovision and makes the ps2 region free?

The DMS3 2.0 Is the only one of those chips that does all of that. Get the DMS3 2.0 and you won't be sorry.

im not really looking for the disabling of macrovision and making it region free, but if it comes iwth it, then its a bonus

im mostly just looking to get a chip that will:

- play all backup games for ps2 (dvd games burned to dvd-r AND cd-r, cd games burned to cd-r)
- play original dvd movies AND backup DVD movies

and most importantly, do all of the above without any problems, if possible??

also, are there any modchips that reduce the life on the laser? (if so, that is one chip im NOT going to get heh

)

Seeing as you asked ...

Messiah 2 is games flawless in terms of your requirements and, not having the Macrovision and DVD Region Free facilities (nor other extras in DMS3), Messiah 2 comes considerably cheaper.

Magic 3.1 is not a contender against DMS3 and Messiah 2 in terms of technical proficiency.

So, in my opinion, DMS3 vs Messiah 2 is a price/performance issue. Both work perfectly well.

both work perfectly well, dms3 is a slightly harder install, but that's not a factor.

DMS3, has the dev.olution mode to run things off your mem card, which the messiah 2 doesn't. it also has green screen removal, macrovision off, and dvd region free.

I don't think they are really contenders.
