Messiah 2 Pro issue??? Blank screen???

I have been talkin to my shop, but here's the thing, I've just got my ps2 back chipped with a messiah 2 pro, but here's the thing it played fine all night for several hours and then when I tried to switch a game and reboot it I ended up getting a black blank screen. the system wouldnt' even boot up and all. What is this issue and would someone mind filling me in on it? I've tried restarting it again this morning and it still in the same condition with this repeated problem.

seems like a bad mod. take it back to the shop and have it checked

loose wire or a short I would bet
