Messiah 2 Operating Instructions –

I have been searching for these.
Here is what I found so far.
For PS2 DVD and CD games.
From Standby just tap reset 1x to start.
For PS1 abd DVD movies.
From Standy hold reset till the eject lite turns blue.
Now I need to know how to turn off the chip. Also how do you turn it back on?
Thanks

Here's what I do with my Messiah 2 PS2.
1) To play PS2 game, I just put it in. I tried different methods and they all worked properly.
2) To play PS1 games/DVDs, I hold the reset until the blue light comes on eject button. Then I let go and it boots perfectly and will stay in this mode until I turn my PS2 off or put it on standby mode.
3) To turn off the modchip, I hold the reset button for like 4-5 seconds. I *think* this turns it off since I was able to play DVD movie using a Gameshark 2... which isn't possible in any other mode since it needs to be in PS2 mode to run GS2 while it needs to be in PS1 mode to run a DVD. Once I turned off my PS2 (or put it on standby) and turn it back on, it was back to PS2 mode.

You have to look beyond the last 30 days. The option is at the bottom right corner.
