Messiah 2 or Magic 3.1?

Hi guys,

I'd like to install a chip on my V4 PS2. Can anyone advise on the best chip for this version, messiah 2 or magic 3.1?

I use messiah 2 and havent any problem.
I have install over 120 messiah 2 ( in all versions of ps2-pal) and all works great and with no problems.
My opinion is the messiah 2 is a great modchip

I've got a Magic 3.1 in my PS2, and it works great.

I have 41 PS2 "backups" and they all boot and play fine. And I bought GTA:VC, and it plays fine too.

I havent played any PSX games or DVD's in it yet.


My suggestion? Magic 3.1.

... to which I would add, Magic 3.1 improves vastly on Magic 3 bt doesn't boot every PS2 backup which Messiah 2 does.
