Messiah 2 or Magic 3.1

I'm planning on getting a modchip and i was wondering which is better. Messiah 2, magic 3.1, or magic 3.5.? also are applechip's good?

hmm.. i would have to say Messiah 2..
But

I have done a few apple chips and they seem to be working good to..

Please.....enough with the "should I get Magic or Messiah?". This question has been asked so many times and answered with pages and pages of intelligent (and some not so intelligent) reasoning. If you can't do a simple search to get the answer to this question, go somewhere else and ask. Next person to post this question gets to go to the reading club!!!!

Here's one of the more lenghty discussions on the M2 vs M3.1 topic.

It'll be a moot point however, if the DMS3 is all it claims to be. Maybe it'll drive the M2 prices down to M3.1 prices.

oh dear god........not another one of these which mod threads.......

messiah 2 if you want now, or wait for a month or so to get the DMS3 if it comes out then or whatever......

look at what the DMS3 offers compared to the Messiah 2:
"Integrateable MP3/DivX player" (basically, you load it onto the memory card so you dont have to swap the cd...thats not all too great)
"Flashable" thats so if a bug is found, you can just flash the chip and it'll be good as new. But the Messiah 2 is already great, so this is just an insurance policy for a new mod realy.....
"Quick Start" You hold start and it goes straight to the game. Sounds cool, but who knows how many problems this can cause, i can think of a lot.
"Macrovision/DVD All Regions" If you have a standalone dvd player, or even if you dont watch dvds that much, this is useless. Macrovision is dumb, and if you live in north american, all region dvd is stupid, because they make a dvd for everything anyway.

Messiah 2 is available now, DMS3, who truly knows.....

and yes, i am party biased, i admit it. Because i am extremely satisfied with my messiah2, compared to the POS i had before-hand.

The DMS3 looks very promising to the modchip scene, but all those extra features arent really too great, and they just plan to suck you in to buy it, when its priced 10$ higher than the Messiah2.

still you desicion in the end.
