Messiah 2 installed but...

Hi, i just got my Messiah 2 installed by a pro installer shop over here in NY, so far it boots all media but its a little different form what i expected , it will direct boot all media as long as i insert the disc with the reset button,(even originals) if i use the eject button or push the tray in it wont boot, also wont boot form the browser, it boots original DVD & CD, and DVD-R & CD-R media. I tried the shut off feature as well, did the shut off procedure with a DVD-R and it wouldn't boot, reactivated it and it booted so that seems to work fine. PS1 works but color look all ****ed up, im sure the installer had did the NTSC color fix, i dont see why not(i forgot to try out PS1 games at the shop) i mean its not the biggest deal since i rarely play PS1 games, but i do on occasion and its a bit annoying. anybody have any thoughts on the things i mentioned?

The originals i tried were as follows:
DBZ: BudoKai
Kingdom Hearts

The backups were:
Sly Cooper
the Mark of Kri

PS1 original:
Street Fighter EX plus Alpha

PS1 backup:
Final Fantasy VI

You still need the NTSC fix if you want to play PS2 PAL backups. Otherwise they'll all come out black and white.
As for your booting problems, try the following:
PS2
(1) From standby, turn your PS2 on using the eject button
(2) Insert your game disk into the tray
(3) Press the reset button (NOT the eject button)
(4) The tray will close and the game will boot

PSX and DVD Movies
(1) From standby, press the eject button to turn on your PS2
(2) Insert the PSX game or movie into the tray
(3) Press the eject button to close the tray
(4) Press and hold the reset button until the PS2 goes into standby
(5) Press and hold the reset button until the blue eject LED lights, then release it
(6) The PSX game or movie should boot

I have to admit that the above works perfectly on any PAL machine fitted with the Pro version of the M2.

Well i didnt really have a big problem with booting just have to use the procedure i mentioned an it relatively boots fine , ill play more this weekend but its been good so far, except the way the PS1 games look.

BTW thetieger, since the extra money wasnt applied to the shipping of the chip can i get my $5 bucks back .

I just hope it stays consistant and doesnt give me any problems.
