Messiah 2 installation problem: DVD/DVD-R shows the red screen

I installed a messiah 2 pro in a NSTC v5, CD/CD-R boots fine, but DVD don't boot (red screen). DVD-R boots but freeze after the PS2 logo. If I turn off the chip original DVD disc boots fine. I have check all the conections and they seems ok. Any ideas?

Thanks for your reply loy. I have check both wires with a multimeter and they look right. Can you tell me another way to test them or any other idea?
