Messiah 2 HK Question

Hey I have a Messiah 2 HK (I KNOW I got ripped off but i didnt know at the time it was a clone/fake that works more like a Magic 3. I wasted 170 on it and i have been PISSED since i learned it was a fake) and have found the following problems:
1. Cant use Gameshark codes because it wont boot the game from the gameshark menu (can this work with any other chips?)
2. DVDs dont work. (They always come up saying unreadable.)
3. Cant get the chip to disable / turn off even tho the seller said it is possible. (If it is can anyone tell me how?)
4. Cant get any of the OPM (official playstation mag) PS2 Demo Discs to work. (It loads up normally but freezes at the screen when the copyright info is. PS: These are the real ones and NOT backups)
And those are the only problems i have come across. Anyone know more info on these or any other problems existing with this chip? AND with these being the only problems i have had do u think i should keep this chip or sell it and get a Messiah 2 Pro instead?

When i say DVDs i mean movies not the DVD games or DVD backup games.
