Messiah 2 HK opinions wanted

According to this site http://www.importchips.com/importchips/ this chip could show NTSC PS1 games at fullscreen, which the Magic 3.x cannot handle. I have also heard from another guy that these fake chips are just as good as Messiah 2 Pro stability wise and practially equal to M2 Pro. Just wonder if these chips could replace M2 Pro really as he said cause I have heard from other sources it probably has the Magic 3.x code. Thank you in advance.

Whoever told you this is fully of shit. Reviews have shown that The HK Messiah 2 is not up to par with the real Messiah 2.

Yes, forget the HK Messiah 2. The Apple Pro is a great choice. I wouldn't get one if I thought otherwise. It is right there with Messiah 2 performance wise and only $19.99 from www.modchips.cc

This chip heart form my supplier is from Taiwan and not from HK.
Released a long time ago.

It can't compare with original Messiah 2 Pro but it support more model than Magic 3.1.

Its different to Magic 3.x since it use 75MHz clock other than 50MHz clock on Magic 3.x or other chips.

I test its D9 successful start up rate seems higher than Magic 3.1 and equilvalent to Apple Pro.

Magic 3.1 has a problem which I test 50pcs has 10 faulty after 1 or 2 month after install but this chip have quite few failure on 50. I stop using Magic 3.1 on early April and customer complain on June... This chip using up to now no complain except wire losing.

Except you want to use it on 10000~18000. I suggest use Apple Pro since Apple's code is newer.

Messiah 2 HK (aka Accessor) is quite nice.

It serves as a cheap Messiah alternative.

You don't have to tap reset to boot games. You will get a 90% boot rate just by closing the tray.

I'd say it and the Apple Pro are in the similar market behind the DMS3 and Messiah, but in front of the Magic.

Nah - I would say that the Apple pro is above the Messiah2 V1.3 in that it has it's own on board crystal (better design) is smaller and costs less but has the same features and reliability.

maybe not V1.31 but that has yet to be released - and only is to offer an advantage of V9 compatibility that the Apple pro lacks at this stage. So if you don't have a V9 the Apple pro wins out both in design (stability) and cost.

Obviously DMS3 wins on features though...

modchips are ALL overrated . Competition for basically nothing. They basically all do the same shit which is boot burned games. To be honost , the Magic chip has TONS of problems so stay away from it. And I don't care what your talking tbout .. NEVER BUY CLONES OR KNOCKOFF'S , they aren't the same thing and will cause problems in the future. The Apple Pro is the latest chip on the scene and boots everything. Get an Apple Pro.

I believe it's a real good chip but the owner has problems with ps2. Go to forum updates forum and look for the *** thread.
