Messiah 2 colour fix?

Hi I'm about to install a Messiab 2 (v1.3) on a V5/6 pal and I was wondering do I need to solder the colour fix point? Does the new firmware version cover the colour fix problem?
Also I have a 15W iron with only a 0.5mm tip - will this be okay?

color fix is 1 wire .. the mod itself has 24 wires .. why even ask .. just do it ..

your iron will be fine.. (it's not was you use .... it's how you use it )

just make sure to use soldering flux ..
