Messiah 1 problem - please help!! –

I installed a messiah 1 into a v4 pal, it would not boot nothing but the laser was clicking (trying to read)
I noticed that my date and time had been reset so i changed these to todays date and time but now after I reset the time and date white spindle does not spin?!?!? (only 1/2 a second)
The laser is a new one and was working fine before the date /time change?!!?
Please help!!!

the date had been changed cause you 1) enter memory card into the slot while ps2 was working 2)you add second memory card while working from other ps2. it is confirm by sony, i had that problem. bug

1 . Gap or non gap ???
2. alt points on cd/dvd controler ??
The time and date change because remove the green plug (battery) from mobo.
Anyway have bad soldering point(s).
Recheck all points .
Use alt points for bios and cd\dvd controler.

Yeah, it probably has something to do with the cd/dvd controller points if discs arent booting.

I gotta ask. Do you shag Olive or are you an olive skinned person who shags?
Please see the Messiah 2 Trouble Shooting Guide. The issues are identical with Messiah 1.

your guide says if it read and recognises the cds it is a laser issue, but the laser is brand new and has been calibrated via the eeprom from sony everything loads flawlessly BUT no backups work?!?
