I just installed a Mchip-7 (MP-568L) into customers v12 PStwo (the customer also supplied the chip). The problem is that I can get PS2 games to boot, but not PSX or DVDs. anyone got any ideas? I've checked my S point and it is good

I just changed the chip to one of my own (H20) and it works flawlessly.

I would have tried changing th laser, but I don't have any spare v12 lasers lying around
