mc2 installed and ntsc games are in black 'n' white

hello to all the ppl out there

ok now
my mate have in stalled a magic chip 2 into his v7 39002 model

ok when he goes to load ntsc games they play in black and white for some odd reason??

he tryed to do the RGB fix on the chip but the chip looks different
i said to him to try the one under side theres is no ic there

is it a short or anything or does the chip already have colour inbuilt??

ive tried to have a look at it myself
and im lost

is there any RGB diagrams for v7??? help???

There are likely to be two reasons from which to choose:

1 His TV cannot resolve 60Hz RGB (like it's cheap or older)

2 He hasn't got the right RGB lead. It should either be the red/yellow/white lead into matching AV ports on his TV or a fully loaded SCART to PS2 RGB lead.

It is unlikely to be due to anything else.
