Matrix MXL + Action Replay: does it work ?

Guys, I have a quick question:

Does the old Matrix MXL (not the newer MXL2) work with Action Replay card ? Can it be used to activate codes ? A friend of mine has such a mod and bought an Action Replay a few days ago, and he claims that nothing works. To be honest, I have never tried these two together, it was never needed, but maybe some of you know the answer, if so please share it with me just to make my friend happy, he he...

Hey when i first got my action replay i thought it didnt work with my Magic 3.0 however after playing around with it i found out that when AR is on the main menu just to instert the game you want to play, AR will try to search for the code it will then take you to the code screen select whatever you want and then press start to play the game. It worked for me
