Matrix Infinity vs DMS4 modchip, what should I get?

MATRIX INFINITY vs DMS4(pro/lite) modchip.
What should I get?
Can i please have some thoughts (pros/cons) on what chip is better for me? For examples; Toxic OS, vs just using launchelf as BOOT.ELF on the exploit and HDL .7c, or anything else for this newbe.

I have a V4 35001 PS2.
Im looking to use HDL to play games off the hardrive. Whatever has the best options/compatibilty of playing backups on a HDD.

MI is best chip;not huge,not expensive and for hdl or other app's good choice.

Its cheaper than DMS4 too. Cost only $43 at robotpig.com or other sites. More frequent firmware releases.

Isn't it an advantage of having the DMS4 Pro (over matrix) because of the
use of ToxicOs 0.3 & being able to also use HDL 07c?

I heard there is more compatible w/games using ToxicOs over HDL 07c is this true?, so being able to use both would be a plus right..?.

just get whichever ones cheaper on your side, they both work pretty well equally. The infinity come preflashed ready to play your backups, the DMS team is a 'legal' chip so you need to find some 'toxic' software for it. The toxic team had development out faster for HDL games, but both HDloader and the Toxic proggie play about the same thing. See what the toxic 0.4 has in stock. Seems to have a few good features over the MI, but probably more than you will need. like DEV1, DEV2, and DEV3. It seems now insead of holding a button to boot a certain type of media, the chip makers are creating chips to boot certain loaded ELF files.
