Hello, I'm planning on modding my V12 Slimline (SCPH 70011) PS2. I'm sort of in a hassle between the Crystal Chip and IM. I'm planning on playing my games online and i know the Matrix Infinity dosen't do DNA patch like the CC, although matrix offers more feature. My question is is it still possible to go online with the matrix infinity and how? Also, is the crystal reliable as the Matrix Infinity with the same amount of features... please reply im getting mod today

Thanks for the reply. About the DNA patching, is this a hard process or time consuming? Could you redirect me to a tutorial relating to this topic. Please, reply.

Dev2 is the ability to boot directly from HDD. if you do not need this and/or have a playstation wich can not output the DNAS code from original games a crystal would be the better solution... in my opinion

I've pretty much settled on one of these two chips as well...

If I go with the Crystal, and add an HD - I need to use a mem card exploit to use the HD, right? Do I have to dedicate a mem card, or can I still use it for regular saves?

If I go with the MI, I need to patch ISO's with DNA's only if I have to go online.

Anyone else want to chime in with differences?

    Tx
