Matrix Infinity... Testing & Reporting

Im writting this post to get some reports on how Matrix Infinity works in your ps2 and to help anyone if needed.

My ps2:

v9 - SCHP50004

Test:

- 5 seconds black screen before turning on with joypad1

- 20 seconds black screen before turning on without joypad1

- PS2 direct booting (backup or original) 100%

- PS1 direct booting (backup or original) 100%

- DVD Movie direct booting 100%

- Booting from browser OK

- Memory Card Mode... not tested.

- Disable Mode OK

- Fast Boot Mode OK


Things found:

- If you turn on your ps2 tapping reset till the blue light comes on, the modchip is entirely disabled

Bugs Found:

- Boot a PS1 game, then tap reset and insert a PS2 game. The machines freeze enterily, you cannot even tap reset again, the only way to escape is turning off using the back switch

I done some testing off my own last night and tested 9 games on a MATRIX INFINITY modded version 7 PS2.

Heres my results (booted each 3 times from the menu)

GTA: VICE CITY - 3 of 3
FIFA FOOTBALL 2004 - 3 of 3
007 E OR N - 3 of 3
007 NIGHTFIRE - 3 of 3
MORTAL KOMBAT DA - 3 of 3
FINAL FANTASY 12 - 3 of 3
FREEDOM FIGHTERS - 3 of 3
MOH: RISING SUN - 3 of 3
TRUE CRIME - 3 of 3

and i did test the Macrovision Off and it worked no problem.
I tested it with a Original Region 2 DVD HAPPY GILMORE.
