    I?m having problems with both a V9 & V10 NTSC/U PS2 installing a Matrix Infinity SE.

After install, both back-up and originals are not recognized (PS2 Red screen). If the Matrix is disabled by pressing the ?start? key, originals will now work. The options menu can also be accessed by pressing the circle and triangle.

Every solder point has been checked and re-checked. I?m using the alternate connections for points B, G and I.

The same has now happened with both a V9 and a V10. Other PS2 versions have worked fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers

    Probably a bad install.

Just add H. Sounds like you left it out.

    Thanks qortizone,

I will give it a try.

It was my understanding though that the 'H' point was only for non-US NTSC PS2's.

    Cheers

No, I was using a NTSC diagram, the way I understood it was that the 'H' wire was only for NTSC/J and not NTSC/UC

    Cheers
