Matrix Infinity: Possibility of forcing PS2 Pal games to run with 60 Hz?

I still have to decide whether to apply either a Crystal Chip or a Matrix Infinity to my PStwo (PAL) console.

AFAIK the Crystal Chip?s Bootmanager application offers the possibility of forcing PS2 PAL games to run with 60 Hz. So I would like to know if the Matrix Infinity is able to do that, too.

Go with matrix infinity period. and if u want matrix infinity REAL cheap go to www.worldmodchips.com only 40 dollars..

matirx is good, but judging from other post, it seem there a lot of problem with matrix infinity, on the other hand, Crystal chips doesn't have a lot of problem like matrix have...you should read other post to check which one is better. There both do almost the same thing

Those people who have problems with it are installing it improperly or some problems unrelated to the Matrix Infinity. You need to read those thread more carefully. Just because you see "HELP MATRIX INFINITY INSTALL FAILED" does not mean that it is the Matrix Infinity fault. I have installed many of them and I have never had any problems with them.

I agree with Tony... this is nonsense. There is no problem isolated to the Infinity that doesn't affect every and all modchips. I, too, have installed plenty Infinities without incident... they're quite bullet-proof. Installation errors are typically the culprit.

Just be careful when throwing out opinions.

Seriously... I have never had one problem with them. I've had problem with Duos but never an Infinity.

I have with MI a few fault;my infinity new,blue dot v1.39 and this chip cannot open second sight dvd-r disk?When I try fast boot give me configiration menu and then joypad never work....
As for me MI need new firmware.If I'm wrong correct me,

Blue dots are flashed with v1.36. You needed to flash with v1.39. That fix the glitch with some of the blue dots.

I re flashed it and before flash wrote under logo infinity v1.39.After flash again not boot second sight disk...:(

AFAIK Matrix and Crystal have the same functions. But I would say you're better off with the Crystal Chip cause its open source so it doesnt depend on the manufacturer to provide firmware...
