I just upgrade from magic to matrix infinity, and backup doesn't boot (ps2/ps1). It was work fine before so no lens problem.

I wonder what connection should I check the most, since I double check it before reassemble back.

Oh yeah I did firmware upgrade to 1.5 already. So It's not firmware/clone problem.

I think you soldered something incorrectly. But if you are sure that your work is good then I would try another Matrix Infinity.

The fact that you managed to upgrade the firmware means that All the connections must work except the A B G I

I have had that happen alot with defective infinities...
    SOLUTION:
Bridge the diode (little glass cylinder) on the modchip.

    G isn't suppose to be connected v7.
I just re-check A and I again, test it using multimeter, all connected. And I don't accidently cross soldering to another points.

I wish I have another MI for testing. Real MI is very rare here. That's why I have to import them
I'll try to find diode replacement if that's what causing trouble.
