matrix infinity homebrew problem
matrix infinity homebrew problem –

I have a v9 ps2 (50003) and i have just soldered my new matrix infinity homebrew in. Before i installed the chip i could play games and dvds fine but now i cant play anything, the console just freezes and i cant do anything. It does this once its at the brower menu and trying to play the disc. I haven't yet checked my soldering, but is there any specific points that could cause this?

i checked the wires and found a few loose ones which i soldered again. The console now boots up fine and plays ps1 and ps2 discs but will not regonise the matrix disc i created. Is there any way of checking that the chip works or is there another way to create the matrix disc?

Make the flash by hoding the reset button until the blue eject light turns on.
This will let you boot the upgrade disc to reflash your Infinity.

just tried it and it did NOT get a disabled logo, i have checked points MNOP as they were bridged so i will check it all again. Would it be wise to remove the chip altogether and install it again?

i have used 0,25mm kynar wire, i don't know what guage that is but is that ok to use on all the points or do i require a different guage wire for the ground and power? I have decided to remove my mod and reinstall it as i have a few bad connections but the wires are also in a mess.
thanks for the help
