matrix infinity help

i have a matrix infinity chip in my v5 ps2 and it wont read psx games not even originals. it reads everything else. i just wonderd if anyone might know what the problem is or what i can do to fix it.

Check that the SCEX point is ok

it's problebly your cd part of the laser thats dead. do you get the "cant read disc" error or do you get the red screen "insert ps2 media"?

you can try disable the chip by presing select on startup (or start didnt remember)
to make sure that the chip viering is ok.

Does sound like scex point. Anyway, make sure you've upgraded to the latest firmware

ive tried to disable the chip before. but it still didnt work

i have my fimware up to date to..
it happened when i had installed the chip.

well ill open the ps2 again and check the scex point..
