installed matrix infinity green dot when i boot up ps2 it has a black screen and says matrix when i try to boot any games original or backup just goes to browser configaration t.i.a

Is your controller connected? Make sure you flash the chip as well. Hold down the power button for 3 seconds to boot the firmware disc. If that doesn't work then it's probably your installation that's the problem.
