matrix infinity

Hi.... can anybody help just installed matrix infinity chip into ps2 .... put all back together .....but i think it don`t work when i put in original game works fine ..... when i put in back up game ...nothing happens just black screen for 10-15 secs then the put in sony ps2 disc message comes up......what have i done wrong any help would be appreciated.....thanks in advance

plug a controller in and the screen should show faster . then try to flash the chip , it may be a homebrew .
