NO PLAYSTAION 2 Logo scratching as it was on MARS IV 705 and pretty good chip relayable and safe.

Try using component cables with the PSTwo and Mars pro 805se. I can't even get a movie playing with it unless I'm using RCA cables. Also with component cables I get no video during the blue clouds screen; only when a game starts

As I know for all PS2( except the very first release model), component output will not work when playing back DVD video. This was the dvd copy protection that Sony had to use as a member of DVD forum.

Yeah but this is a PSTwo slim, not the old fogey models. I don't understand how they overlooked this, the Magic 5KX+ can do it.
