mars chip problem

Hi. I got a ps2 slim with a mars chip (dont know what model is). Recently my ps2 games dont work, but everything else (psx games, dvd movies, mp3s, ect) work perfectly.

loose wire maybe, crack it open and look

The chip is a mars pro gm 805 sl. I looked at the wires, everything looked fine :S. Any suggestions?
