means i hav 500gb usb hdd and i want to store movi ,pic, game(ps2,sega,snes) using opl .7 and mp3 file in it
HOW IS THIS POSIBLE IN 1 PARTION
i hav moded ps2 with modbo 3.0 with matrix 1.93

AND IS THEIR ANY METHOD TO SAVE MY LASER.......

Sorry, but... WTF are you talking about?

1. With your modchip, you need to have at least one MC, to start an ELF from (and no this Modchip can not start ELFs from USB...).
2. You need to have an ELF at the right DEV.1-Location, so that your modchip will find it and can execute it.

Just create a partition with uLaunchELF, and stick your files in there.
But I don't think that FMCB can boot files from such a place (You must use uLE).

@TnA: I've just remembered: This is something the new FMCB could have: The ability to boot ELFs off a partition on the HDD without the need of uLE!

Yepp, that is a long-wanted feature.

A few other things, which would be important:
-Making use of the currently still encrypted blocks in the DVDELF.bin, if possible at all...
-A small light-wight ps2-(ELF-)unpacker-stub, which has a better packing-ratio then the currently used one.

I think there should be enough space for that feature, if the HD-Drivers would be external (like the X-Modules on those old JAP PS2s; or the USB-Drivers).

It also would be nice to have a way to 'resize' the KELF somehow...

Then I don't see what's so difficult about this here.
Just put all of your files on your USB disk with your computer.

Your USB disk must have a partition that's FAT32 formatted. Not NTFS.

If your disk can't be detected or accessed by even uLaunchELF, then you've either done something wrong or your device is simply incompatible.
