    does anyone here know how to make a multimeter?
    my modding:
    matrix infinity: on and off 6 times
    external speakers /w leading wire: done
    memory card LED (activity + connectivity): done
    controller status LED change + vibration LED: done
    color-change lighting in v12: done
    rgb to vga for monitors: FAILED due to not enough material
    portable/internal LCD: sadly failed, as ps1 screen doesnt fit. planning same mod with intec screen
    external harddisk for v12: CANCELED due to v12 breakdown
    window for ps2 dvd-drive mod: in progress

    A made in China digital multimeter is so cheap, cost only RM17 (USD4), why taking much hassle to built one.

    You could but it would be too hard. Why dont you just go out and buy a multimeter. They are inexpensive and they are worth it. My dad has the old analog ones and they work too as well as the digital ones.

    there are also multimeter kits you can buy that have diagrams to help you assemble..but they are very expensive and in the end yield a less than stable meter...its a much better investment to dish out the 10-15 $ and get youself a solid meter
