MagicV on V9 problem

Hi All,

I just installed a magicV on a PAL V9, and I'm having this problem:
All original boot, but any backup (CDR/DVDR) gives me the red screen of death.
I twisted the R and Y with ground, and made sure the Y is as short as can be, and isnt crossing any other wire.

I also resoldered all A-I, and double checked M-P just in case.

What in the name of GOD can i try more?

check power and ground wires. check wire A as well
