    Is it just me or do all the diagrams show that you must put the wire in between the two caps?

    If you want to wire it between 2 capacitors good luck

    You have to solder it on the black capacitor on the down side, where there is metal to make the solder work.

    But take care not too wire long time because the metal go out on capacitors so make many short times than long time wire tries.

    erm ones a resistor and the other is a capacitor
    you and bridge the both it wont do any damage i do the bridge all the time
