magic3 games blurred

I have a magic3 in a us ver7. Some games work fine Tekken 4 backup and original, Tekken tag tornament backup an original. But others like mk deadly alliance, crash and maximo are all blury even original games. They have lines going up and down in the background and an the characters what could be wrong?

I've tried both cables and nothing changes.

Was this a DIY or a professional install?

P.S. Now that you have a v7 you can change your sig line too...

I am (hopefully) getting my Magic3 2moro It sounds like a strange problem though I shall test for inconsistancies and such, also i have MK5 so i will let you know what happens with mine !!!!

Also was it a Premod or did you arrange the chip fitting yourself ???

It was a profesional install after a failed attempt by me, but there were no bridged points etc. It only boots about half the time now and here is an updated list of games that are blurred.

MK Deadly Alliance
Simpsons Road Rage
Atv Offroad Fury
Maximo
Crash Bandicoot

Other games play fine

FFX
GTA Vice City
Tekken 4
Tekken Tag
PacMan Fever
All ps1 games

After 1 game boots it usally boots the next one if I hit eject and replace the game and then hit reset. Some times the power light comes on but there is no picture.

Well, at this point I suggest you contact your installer plus send along a few of those discs for him to compare and witness the problem firsthand.
