Magic3 freezes

Hi I have a problem with the PS2 freezing after i installed the magic3 chip.
i would like to know is there a way to fix this problem.
The game that this occirs on is FFX at first i thought it was the bcakup but then i put the original in and still had this problem.

mate i recon your the 30th person this forum with the same problem well i hate to say you ended up with the magic3 old batch with a bad code

theres a magic3.1 with the fixed code

i dontt hink there was a cure for this problem hmmm sorry dude

oh hang on now i remember if you double wire your gnd and pwr point it should stop the freezing 2 wires off the pwr on mod and 2 wires off gnd point on mod

and movie toyur w wire to the alt point next to the bios
