Magic2 V7 help

I recently bought a Magic2 V7, and had it installed, but when I start up my ps2, the machine starts up, but I don't get the sony start up, and when I push the eject, and it takes a dozen pushes to get the tray to open, maybe you can help me out and tell me what's wrong,

I'd guess a wire broke or fell off somewhere, but if you paid an installer do the work, I'd contact him and relate your problem.

If he stands behind his work, then he should be willing to resolve the issue for you...

Can anyone simplize what the 'Mate round the corner' is. I looked at the picture but dont understand what it is or what it does. Since i got a 39001 with a Magic2 on the way, does this pertain to mine? thanks

My 'mate round the corner' is a friend who lives a few hundred yards away round the corner. he's the one with the oscilloscope.

By analogy:

Charlie:My mate round the Corner = Balto:LOD
