magic V (v9 no video, cd drive spins, eject light will turn on)

what would b wrong with my ps2? it powers on but there is no video signal and the dvd drive makes a soft click noise like its reading sumtin. didnt find solder blob or splash and dvd drive n bios wires seem to b ok. ribbons r plugged in firmly. plz help. TIA

i had that once ,couldnt find it either what the prob was.
I took the system battery out and let it out for at least 24 hours after that my ps2 runs again.
still dont know what the prob was.
