magic V KX –
07-20-2004,11:55 AM
I got no idea if what I am using is a clone or official magic product, but what is official magic product now days?
Just wanted to report that I installed at least 100 v9/10 consoles with this chip and havent had any return (knock on wood). I am not using the voltage fix either as the guy who i bought these chips from said there was no need....
At first I just installed a KX in every 10th console or so because I wasnt sure what i was using (there is no info on this chip ANYWHERE), but after not having any troubles I started to use them more and more. Now i'm thinking of switching to kx completely.
Anyone else on here tried this chip?

You've done 100 already?? My understanding is that they've been available since Independance Day (July 4)...

The KX is the latest Magic release for the V9/10 only. The guys I get my chips from haven't even got it in yet. Show off! *smirk*

Magic KX –

Funny you should metion that the guy who sold u M.KX's said not to do voltage fix. My chip dealer said tha same thing. I didn't believe him. I fitted a M.KX in 2 V10's with ROMEO voltage fix and the V10's came back totally F*cked. I am still trying to fix them. M.KX with no voltage fix work better I think? Anyone know why not do voltage fix when using M.KX on v9 or 10?

must be something in the code. The thing is everyone is saying that KX is combination of 50K and 5K6, i used to voltage fix them although i never installed many of those chips since they just didnt work work for me....
And magic KX have been avalaible to me for a while now, since mid march probably.
