magic v clone –
01-20-2004,04:08 PM
i got a v7 ps2 today along with a magic v to install , before i did i was looking at the chip and noticed it did not look exactly like the other mvs i have and figured it was a clone , when i looked at the back of the chip i noticed that it was dark red and remembered seeing another clone like this before , but it also says 50000-50004 on the back . could this customer have possably got the wrong chip and this is actualy a magic 50k clone ? i dont want to put it in the ps2 untill i know its the right 1 . im going to email them and ask , just was wondering if maby you guys have seen these before .

also u said that urs is a dark red...then it is fake according to modchip.ca
the Magic V should be light reddish colour....sort of like pink lemonade....sort of....but if it looks like a burned red colour then the Magic V is 100% fake...

well it being a fake is not my biggest concern , i already think it is because i have the real deal here to compare it to , im mostly worrying about it being a 50k and not a v .

well i fugured id never know unless i tried it , so i put it in and it works fine
, i was just unsure how the ps2 would react if i put the 50k in it .
