Magic V alternate power for V7?

I just installed a magic V in a V7 PS2 and it is not
working. I checked all points and they are solder
correctly so the only possiblity of a problem is point
A which the little chip came off the first time but i
soldered it back. And the power(which i think is a
problem). I was wondering if there was either an
alternate A or especially an alternate POWER.
