Magic V 5K6 in a V9

I want to buy some magic V's for both the V9 and V10 and dont really want to buy 2 different chips (i.e magic v 50k for the v9 and magic v 5k6 for the v10) if I dont have to. I know that the magic V 50k works in the v9 of course as I have installed many of these comdinations. Havent tested out the magic 5k6 in a v10 but I see others have and its confermed to work in the v10's. What I want to know is will the magic 5k6's work in the v9? It would be nice to just stock one chip for both. Thanks.

yes Magic V 5K6 will work in V10, but not V9 and Magic V 50K will work in V9 but not V10.

might want to look at messiah2 or dms3 v9 for a single chip that does support v9 and v10.

I know I was contemplating bringing in Magic V 5K6 but well, with new M2 Pro v1.33B pricing being under $30 now.

foundmy is right (of course) if you want one chip for both it's either the Messiah 1.33b or DMS3 v9...
