can a magic v in a v7 be used on a 50001???just wondering because a buddy of mine sold me his magic v out of his v7 and i have a 50001 ps2 (dunno which version that is)

for V9 you will need magic V 50k
for V10 you will need magic V 5k6

normal magic V would not work in the V9/V10 version
