Magic II and Guncon games

Hi,

I just got a Panther VII from goldenshop, but it won't work with Vampire Night or Time Crisis 2. It's guncon compatable and works fine with Time Crisis (psone) and Area 51 (psone).

I'm running a Magic II mod chip and am wondering if this is the source of the problem? Anyone know? Or is there a different solution for this problem?

Well, Vampire Night supports Guncon and Guncon 2, according to the options screen. And I read that Time Crisis 2 (NTSC/USA) supports the old Guncon as well.

My V4 PS2 with Messiahs works great with Time Crisis 2 + GunCon 1 pistol... i dont think it would be an issue with the Magic2 thou :/.. kinda strange

Hrmmm.. this is a weird problem. It should just work without having to tweak with it so much. I loaded up Virtua Cop Rebirth and if I put the gun into controller port 2, the game refuses to load until I take it out. So there's definitely some issue with this gun. Ugh. It's a cool gun too, has recoil and foot pedal.

Almost starting to think I might need a genuine guncon 2 for ps2 games. Ergh and I heard those things break real easy.

i had a 3rd party gun, viper something, and it refuses to work with any ps2 game.
