magic 5k6 prob

I got a magic 5k6 in my v10. I had it installed somewhere. I played a couple of games on it. Then recently I opened it to look at the install. Then when I reassembled it, the chip stopped working. It says insert playstation or playstation 2 format disc. Then about a day or two ago, I was playing a music cd on CD-R and the ps2 just shut off and the power LED started flashing red, and I could not reset it or anything so I had to turn it off. I have not used it since. I opened it up again and check all the wires and the DVD cables and they all seem connected. Anyone have an idea as to what the problem is?

check your wires.. make sure no wires are getting pinched by screws.

nothing is getting pinched.... any other ideas?

Did you plug the fan back on? I get those blink red lights if I turn on the PS2 for more than 20 minutes without the FAN.

turns out the fan wire got pinched, and cut. but the mod is still messed.
