Magic 5K6 installed V10 DVD problem

ok, installed a few of these already. Now I have a problem with one, everything works, but the DVD will not spin at all, not even a 1/10 of a sec turn. The lazer just keeps trying to focus on the disc but the disc is not turning. I took the chip out and same thing, no spin. Does anyone have ideas?

I'd check the fuses first, especially PS11 - but it's possible that it's a problem with the LA chip.

*EDIT*
I'm sure you've checked, but make sure the ribbon cable is connected properly.

The problem is only with DVD or with the CD too ?

huh, acts like it does not get power, at all whats the difference between a dvd and cd?
