Magic 3.6 problems
Magic 3.6 problems –

I am having trouble with my magic 3.6 chip. I put it in a v7 playstation and it won't work right. All the solder points look fine. When I turn on the ps2 for the first time it will work, but once I start playing the game it freezes. After that if I hit reset I get nothing, no playstation logo just a black screen. Than I have to unplug and wait a while than it will come back and does the samething again. I have a magic 3.5 working in another ps2 and the games work fine. This is my second playstation that is doing this. Could it be the chips? Can someone help me out. Thanks Jason

ie, once ur machine heats up the clip might be working itself off.
This would sort of explain why after playing awhile it doesn't work. Then after it cools down it works again

Put the Clip stick pad on the clip. If that doesnt help install the Magic 3.6 without the clip. There is a thread about installing the Magic 3.6 withour the clip kit but i dont know where it is.
Hit the search button and search for Magic3.6 wire installation oslt........
