Magic 3.5 stopped working after 6 month

Hi,

I moded and used magic3.5 for abt 6 months by now.
but suddenly it is not working now.
It works with PS2 Orginal, PS1 Original & PS1 backup.
But somehow PS2 backup (CD-R and DVD-R) doesn't work.
I guess I disabled the PS2 Backup mode by pressing RESET button and waiting 5 seconds.
Is there anyway to enable the PS2 Backup mode again?
Or is there any trouble with mod chip?

You mean turn off the chip?
Can you please explain exactly how to turn off/on the chip?
Ive just heard that you cant turn off/on the Magic 3.5.

turning off the ps2 and turning it back on again puts the chip back into "normal" mode

just turning the ps2 turns the chip off

yuor problem is a wire has come off

I think most likely the bios socket thing ois not making proper contact. This was the reason why I would never advise anyone of using one of those socket things.

However, in your case if you "re-sit" the socket thingy it should work.
