Try cleaning your laser, If nothing, Try using the alternate W point :0
i'm tempted to say that's the normal behaviour for a Magic3.1 , but this kind of bitchin' isn't that much tolerated here , is it ?
Magic 3.1 Pwns Jo0 ..
Sounds like you/installer soldered to the original W point. Isn't really good. Need to solder to W1 and problems will be solved.
I absolutely have no booting problems with Magic 3.1 on a v4 with GAP.
Agreed.....with plenty of proof, I might add.Originally posted by Neo_KnK

And feel free to bitch away. This site is open to any and all opinions and I express my contempt for Magic chips at every possible opportunity.
well , this is bitchin' , even if i used to like the Magic chip a lot before ...
the fact is that now the Messiah2 chip aren't that much more expensive than the magic chip , the magic solution appears to be the worst one .. when the Messiah 2 was about 70? and the magic3 was 20? , magic 3 was a "nice enough" chip ... but now ... i think it remain quiet good for homebrewing modchip , but not for the basic user who simply wants his imports/backup to boot flawlessly on the first try ...
just my 2cts ..
