Magic 3.1 Red PCB Original???

I have installed a lot of magic 3.1 ones and just yesterday got a strange situation.
After finishing installation it's booting backup silver DVD game and during the playing then you want to save the game between the levels it's going to red screen of dead?
Also it's booting rate is to low for magic 3.1. Is that mean the laser lens is dirty or I have to put more thick wires for 5v and ground?

There is a strange situation the modchiped console with magic 3.1 its boting all games well even dvdr but the only thing is the new game splinter cell is always going red screen between every level passing if you pass the first level its reading and then going to red screen, every time the same ?

Is there any solutions??/

I think if you put a switch on the chip, and load Splinter Cell with the chip on, then turn it off after it is done booting up, that will fix the problem. I don't know if this is true but it is what I have heard.

It might be the silver that has the problem how does your ps2 handle all you other dvd-r and cd-r media?

Main problem is that the PS2 SCPH-30004R chipped with old messiah 1 it's working perfect with Splinter Cell magics only have taht problem. I will try to disable chip and then try again , thanks for support.

I still think that It might be a laser issue with that disk media on that particular ps2

the magic 3.1 turns off after 40 seconds.

I have had at least 3 silver that I had to recopy on to different media before they would work correctly can you copy the game to a verbatim dvd-r and test

These same silvers would work fine on other ps2s

You might want to gve that a shot

Looking at other posts It seems like there might be antimod protection in the game its not the chip though but it seems to be playing fine with my messiah 2 I have saved a couple of times already
