    ok i went to the official magic website and i was looking at the tips and i saw u have to put flux in the copper pads do ureally have to or is that tip to help u better on it? and if you have to will the sloder iron work the kind o have some flux in it.
    GOALS:
    getting a new ps2 (not slimline) in progress
    putting a duo 2 in ps2 in progress

    took old goals out because my ps2 is broken

    Its not necessary to use flux, most solder has flux in it, with the pads I scratch them very lightly with blade, you will see them change colour to bright shiny gold, then heat one end of pad with iron and touch other end of pad with solder and solder will flow and cover pad, easy.
