Magic 3.1 PS1 backup issues

I have recently installed magic 3.1 into my ps2 and everything is
working fine all except for PS1 backup games.
Whenever i boot these games, only half of the screen appear. it seems that the bottom of the game has been shifted to the top of the screen with blank black space on the bottom.
Could someone tell me what the problem was and what wires i should re-solder?

The only wires used are power, ground, reset, and the SCEX line.

Sounds more like a copy issue to me.
