magic 3.1 problem

I have fited magic 3.1 to V3,V4,V5 & V7 and have never had a problem with dvd rips, the only game I have a slight problem with The Getaway DVD-R. I keep reading about problems with the magic chip but I have NEVER had any comeback with a magic 3.1,I agree there may have been problems in the past, but these seen to have been sorted out

dvd rips dont work on my v7 magic 3.1

dvd-r and orginals work fine, but no rips. I thought all cd-r was no good, but i have a 1 to 1 cd-r copy of contra that works fine.

Hmm... the games work perfectly now, but the console's making a lot of noise while the CD is spinning... should I be worried that it'll cause damage?

It seems like the regular noises the thing makes when the cd is spinning and being read... it's just being a lot louder than usual. And it's only with the cd-r's...
